The Fortus 250mc is an industrial 3D printer. It operates according to the FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) principle. Layer for layer, three-dimensional objects are constructed using a synthetic thread, which is pushed through a 0.4 mm temperature-controlled nozzle.

The printer employs two nozzles, one for ABS+ and another to print support materials from a water-soluble material. This process enables nearly any geometric shape to be printed without time-consuming postproduction. The included Insight software allows creation of variable thicknesses within a single object and improved surface modelling. The material used is UV stable and especially robust (ABS is used for LEGO blocks and other applications).

Production with this machine is subject to project submission. Submit your 3D model request (.stl or.obj formats). Watertight 3D models can also be accepted.
