The founding of Destination Wattens Regionalentwicklung GmbH was the culmination of a storied collaboration between the Wattens municipality and Swarovski, which serves to institutionalise more than 120 years of continuous cooperation.
As a result, the partnership between the municipality and the leading company, which has lasted for over 115 years, has become an institution. Since the very beginning, the core mission of Destination Wattens has been, within the framework of its initiatives and together with its partners, to promote the sustainable development of the regional economic area in a targeted manner and to sustainably increase the quality of life and work at the location.
A key initiative of Destination Wattens is the business and creative center Werkstätte Wattens.

These efforts are measured by means of the following methods:
