Innovation Campus
The Innovation Campus (IC) on the grounds of Werkstätte Wattens, which is funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), aims to establish a central innovation workshop in western Austria.
HOLISTIC AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL
With target-group-specific, innovation-promoting programmes for Startups, Grownups or for individual further development, IC participants are supported in successfully developing their ideas and concepts into prototypes or, subsequently, into products, services and other results. Already established companies are methodically supported in their continuous development and readiness for innovation.
State-of-the-art technical infrastructure enables ‘lean & rapid’ to implement and test products quickly for the first time, but also to immerse themselves in 21st century entrepreneurship methods for the further development and optimisation of various business areas.
A comprehensive range of spaces for entrepreneurs at every stage of development, from co-working and flexible meeting rooms to dedicated office space and production areas for the first growth phase, enables an inspiring working environment tailored to individual needs and financial possibilities.
SPACE FOR INSPIRATION AND INNOVATION
In the spirit of open innovation and co-creation, the IC is building a network of necessary partners and experts from business and science to further develop the programmes and to cooperatively support the participants of the IC in the next steps towards product realisation (business model, market entry, communication, serial production, exploitation, etc.). The participation of pupils, teachers, students and the special consideration of diversity and gender as well as the involvement of the region create a place of lively, sustainable inspiration and innovation.
