I.E.C.T. - CHALLENGE 2018

The top 5 start-ups will get the opportunity to pitch their business to the I.E.C.T Capital Partners and Hermann Hauser, one of the most influential and successful Venture Capitalists in Europe.

Requirements

• Do you have a highly scalable business model and a big market potential?
• Do you have a strong team?
• Is your startup in the fields of IT or new innovative technologies and/or services?
• Can you demonstrate traction in terms of first customers and market experience?

If you can answer all those questions with „YES“, then apply now! Deadline for your application is the 21st of September, 2018. Out of all applicants, 10 start-ups will get the chance to present their business to a jury via Skype. The top 5 nominated start-ups will then pitch to the I.E.C.T. Capital Partners led by Hermann Hauser at Werkstätte Wattens in Tyrol. During the get-together later on that day, the top 5 start-ups will gain valuable contacts to expand their network and meet the teams from I.E.C.T., Werkstätte Wattens, regional partners and investors.

For the participating start-ups, a convincing pitch in Wattens can really be worthwhile, because not only Hermann Hauser himself, but also the I.E.C.T. – Capital Partners, private investors and industry partners bring a dense network and strong investment interest. Thus, the Challenge participants of the previous years, Anyline and 360kompany, each secured six-figure investments by Hermann Hauser.The winner of this year’s Challenge will get a trip to Cambridge and a private session with Hermann Hauser. But the other finalists won’t go home emptyhanded either. For example, they receive a free promotional check by the Cemit, a valuation check by PwC Austria and other helpful support from our cooperation partners Tiroler Sparkasse, Werkstätte Wattens and Startup Euregio.
