Workshops for companies
More courage to implement, more courage to take risks, more courage to collaborate - that is what it takes to be successful as an entrepreneur and to implement complex projects. Tailor-made workshops for companies convey systemic approaches and support the learning of these qualities through practical experience, through teamwork and the sense of failure and success.
Interested companies contact us by email to discuss the possibility of individually designed workshops.

Workshops for schoolchildren
To inspire students aged 10-18 years for research and innovation is the goal of our “Digital Fit” workshops, which we are organizing in our FabLab on the initiative of the Verein klasse!forschung. From the construction of a solar-powered weather station to light-controlled mini-robots to a rapid prototyping workshop, the pupils experiment, led by experienced researchers, in small groups with original equipment in a real research environment.
Workshops for students
Over the past years, we have gained a lot of experience with a new teaching format for universities and technical colleges, which we call “Rapid Product Development”. This is an innovative, highly practice-oriented “hands-on” combination of lecture and exercise. Students experience first hand the circular innovation process - from the first sketch to the prototype, the value of “early failure” and “asking the right questions”, as well as achieving success through an iterative learning process. The individual prototypes are made by the students themselves using the latest digital manufacturing methods and the support of the FabLab team - authentically embedded in the inspiring start-up environment of Werkstätte Wattens. Since the content and the task can be adapted to the students’ prior knowledge, this format is also perfect as a valuable addition to business lectures, especially in the fields of product development or innovation management.

Participants develop a new competence portfolio that goes far beyond classic innovation management. The focus of the course is on the qualification to implement innovation quickly and cost-effectively in the company (not only to recognize it but also) and thereby to gain a clear competitive advantage in the highly developed environment of globalization, short product cycles and digital change.
